Pay a visit to busy Helsingor, from where ferries
operate 24 hours a day to nearby Sweden. Take a jolly jaunt across
the water to Denmarks near neighbour or take the time out to

in Shakespeares Hamlet as Elsinore Castle. Dating from the 1420s,
this castle retains the kings and queens chambers and a spooky
bat-filled dungeon.

its Vikingeskibshallen, the Viking ship museum that displays five
reconstructed Viking ships that were discovered and excavated from
the Roskilde Fjord in 1962.
